Giorgio Armani Code Homme Eau de Toilette est connu pour son parfum frais, légèrement sucré et moderne, construit autour de mandarine verte, de lavande et de fève tonka. De nombreux utilisateurs apprécient qu’il reste clairement dans la lignée Code et qu’il attire facilement les compliments, surtout en soirée ou lors de rendez‑vous. La fragrance est également très polyvalente et convient bien au bureau, à un usage décontracté et aux sorties nocturnes. Le principal reproche concerne la performance : plusieurs sources indiquent qu’il devient un parfum de peau après seulement une heure et demie à deux heures, ce qui oblige à en remettre souvent. Certains fans de l’ancienne version trouvent aussi cette reformulation moins intéressante et moins sombre. Si vous cherchez un parfum masculin accessible, sûr et moderne et que cela ne vous dérange pas de vaporiser plus souvent, c’est un bon choix ; si vous privilégiez surtout la tenue et la puissance, mieux vaut opter pour les versions Parfum ou EDP.

I bought the Profumo in 2017 and wore it daily as a student. It has a very sweet and seductive scent - actually more suitable for the evening / dates, yet I found the fragrance so good that I wore it in the mornings as well. Longevity was also very good, lasting into the evening. You can't smell it yourself after a few minutes / hours (olfactory fatigue), but when you pick up the clothing item the next day or walk past it, you could still smell the fragrance. Unfortunately, the Profumo has been taken off the market. I bought its successor "Armani Code eau de Parfum" directly in 2024, but it doesn't compare to the "original."

Armani Code was one of the first designer fragrances from the 2000s that really stuck with me. This slightly spicy, warm, and simultaneously elegant character had something unique back then. Even today, it's easy to understand why the fragrance was so successful: effortlessly wearable, masculine, and with just the right blend of freshness and warmth. For me, it's definitely a scent that has shaped a piece of designer perfume history from the 2000s.
