Guess 1981 Indigo est un parfum frais, vert, coco et figue, avec des notes boisées et de lavande. Il sent unique et pas banal, surtout au départ. La performance est bonne pour un parfum d'été dans cette gamme de prix, avec une sillage et une tenue correctes. Le parfum est doux, sec et pas trop sucré, ce qui en fait un bon parfum casual de jour pour l'été et le printemps. Les inconvénients sont que les notes de coco peuvent être trop fortes ou désagréables pour certains, et que les notes boisées/lavande ne s'accordent pas toujours bien avec la coco au départ. Par temps chaud, il peut sembler un peu intense ou trop profond, et certains porteurs trouvent la base trop générique ou 'type eau de toilette'. Pour les amateurs de parfums tropicaux mais retenus, c'est une bonne addition.

Like a cold summer morning after rained, the air is still humid, juicy, watery. He is drinking his hot tea with coconut milk, while looking at the sunrise through an open window. It is fresh, green, clean, creamy, sweet, and most importantly it doesn't smell cheap. It start very aromatic and green scent, like crushed leaves and then the fig and creamy coconut start to emerge. It isn't green from added green ingredients like Noble Fig or Figuier Eden. If you are just starting your fig journey here, there is a nice big world out there for you to enjoy. Best for warmer weather, more casual that formal. For $25 this is a very good scent. Longevity is not long but decent.

I've worn Indigo a few times now in the high AZ heat and even though it is overly synthetic I enjoy it enough to go back to it once or twice a month. Really it is all about sweet synthetic coconut here and not much else. Don't over spray or it can be an assault on the senses. I wouldn't recommend to anyone who keeps a small collection but if you like to switch it up alot it could be a good addition for the price.

Not sure what 'Indigo' is all about here. A step back from the original launched barely a year ago. This is a mess of synthetics. Has been jus with mediocre sillage and performance. A pass for me. Is indigo the new trend? Quick search shows it has been used as a flanker descriptor as far back as 2009 with Kenzo. A resurgence in 2018 perhaps with at least 3 other launches (Joseph Aboud, Burberry, etc...)
