Mexx Black For Him Eau de Parfum, 50 ml

First of all, while the EDP is similar to the EDT, I personally find it not quite as successful. Even when it comes to pure concentration, I find the EDT more convincing. But enough about that. MEXX Black is still an absolute favorite of mine. I loved wearing it during my youth and still find it incredibly great today. Its spiciness combined with aquatic-fresh citrus notes is simply fantastic! None of the fragrance nuances wants to steal the spotlight or push forward. Instead, it is an excellent composition of cheeky spiciness, citrus lightness, warm cedarwood, and grounding sandalwood. That’s exactly what I love about this scent and I will always keep it in my heart. Therefore, both the EDP and the EDT belong in my collection and are regularly used!

However, I have never read that anyone sees so much similarity with Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette like I do. I find the idea of the scent to be very similar. Sweet, fresh, fruity, woody, masculine. It’s definitely something you should try, even if it’s more of a fragrance for younger people or those who aren’t really interested in perfumes. It doesn’t offend :)

One of the best drugstore fragrances that delivers a lot for its price. Delicious freshness and fruity sweetness that simply create a well-groomed and clean impression. I still enjoy wearing Mexx Fresh Man, for example when exercising or after showering, when I want to lay on the couch smelling particularly fresh. It's also very nice for summer! However, one shouldn't expect too much for the price. It smells uncomplicated, slightly synthetic, and doesn't have an incredibly long-lasting power (about 2 hours on my skin). But at this price, you really can't go wrong....

The first Mexx that I really like, tested today and immediately took it home. It's even on sale at Rossmann, 50ml for a mere €11.95. About the scent: Right upon spraying, there's a strong citrusy grapefruit note paired with blood orange, very fresh and zesty at the start, the lavender is kept subtle, so it doesn't smell barbershop-like. After about 20 minutes, the vetiver and musk come in, and it becomes slightly sweet but really just a little, which I also like very much. Dawg's comment about the split ice is spot on, I immediately had to think of that ice cream too. A really good quality for a drugstore fragrance. Longevity and sillage could be a bit better, but overall it's fine. Conclusion: If you're looking for an affordable fresh summer scent for everyday wear, I can really recommend this fragrance, top.
