Mexx Fresh Man est une eau de toilette fraîche avec des accents aqueux, boisés et fruités comme la passion, la pomme et des bois ambrés. De nombreux utilisateurs apprécient ce parfum léger et vivifiant, bien adapté au temps chaud et à un usage quotidien. Les avis le décrivent souvent comme agréable, non agressif et idéal pour ceux qui préfèrent une senteur aérienne plutôt qu’un parfum lourd. Le prix est régulièrement cité comme un atout dans le segment grande distribution et milieu de gamme. En revanche, plusieurs critiques signalent que la fragrance disparaît en grande partie après quelques heures, ce qui peut nécessiter de renouveler l’application. Certains acheteurs le trouvent aussi plus sucré et moins marin qu’ils ne l’avaient imaginé. Pour ceux qui recherchent un parfum masculin abordable, frais et facile à porter sans exiger une tenue extrême, c’est une option intéressante.

First of all, while the EDP is similar to the EDT, I personally find it not quite as successful. Even when it comes to pure concentration, I find the EDT more convincing. But enough about that. MEXX Black is still an absolute favorite of mine. I loved wearing it during my youth and still find it incredibly great today. Its spiciness combined with aquatic-fresh citrus notes is simply fantastic! None of the fragrance nuances wants to steal the spotlight or push forward. Instead, it is an excellent composition of cheeky spiciness, citrus lightness, warm cedarwood, and grounding sandalwood. That’s exactly what I love about this scent and I will always keep it in my heart. Therefore, both the EDP and the EDT belong in my collection and are regularly used!

This fragrance has truly accompanied me for almost 8 years. For me, it has always been the best drugstore scent. In hindsight, it does smell very synthetic, of course. However, I have never read that anyone sees so much similarity with Boss Bottled Eau de Toilette like I do. I find the idea of the scent to be very similar. Sweet, fresh, fruity, woody, masculine. It’s definitely something you should try, even if it’s more of a fragrance for younger people or those who aren’t really interested in perfumes. It doesn’t offend :)

The first Mexx that I really like, tested today and immediately took it home. It's even on sale at Rossmann, 50ml for a mere €11.95. About the scent: Right upon spraying, there's a strong citrusy grapefruit note paired with blood orange, very fresh and zesty at the start, the lavender is kept subtle, so it doesn't smell barbershop-like. After about 20 minutes, the vetiver and musk come in, and it becomes slightly sweet but really just a little, which I also like very much. Dawg's comment about the split ice is spot on, I immediately had to think of that ice cream too. A really good quality for a drugstore fragrance. Longevity and sillage could be a bit better, but overall it's fine. Conclusion: If you're looking for an affordable fresh summer scent for everyday wear, I can really recommend this fragrance, top.
