I've been using this kick head for years (although I believe they've changed the name since last time I bought one). I installed this head on a new kit and it sounded great right away. Easy to tune, lasts forever, and holds it's tone very well. I sincerely believe this head can't be beat for any rock, alternative or worship style drumming.

Mediocre bass head. The muffling makes it so that you dont have to fill the drum with a lot of extra muffling, but the head tone is pretty flat. I feel like you get more sub bass and resonant tones with an EMAD or Superkick. Not a bad head though.

I love this head so much. I have one on my 24" 1970s Ludwig Bass Drum & one on my 22" 2020 Pearl Masters Bass Drum.

First time at the store, recommended by a friend. Went to the drums and percussion section and a young gentlemen came up to me and asked if I needed help. I already knew what I wanted but he was able to recommend certain drums heads he liked. Super professional and his customer service was incredible. The drum heads sounded great for my show and honestly it was one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. I will be returning to this store because of that and their great prices!

I used the previous Weatherking version of this head, and this head is just great. Punchy and defined. I use it on a kick for recording alternative rock as well as a kit I use live (primarily for contemporary worship music). Works perfectly in both settings
