This drill has a serious safety problem. The trigger switch easily will LOCK to the ON position. I was mixing thick material and the drill started to counter rotate. I imminently released the trigger, but the drill kept running. For safety reasons, I had to drop the drill to prevent my hand or wrist from getting broken. This drill has huge torque. The trigger locked twice on me. Beware Returned this drill the same day I received it.

Read other reviews about its power and how well it works. Came to see that what they said was true. Is as powerful as reviews said. Mixes what thin set or cement with no problems. Well worth the money.

Purchased as a gift for my son. He is impressed with the Makita quality and how well it works for mixing. Great value!

We normally use Makita products due to reliability but this one was a mistake. The pressure handle is only threaded into the plastic so when you jar down; it snaps off. Oh, and it was only a year old when this snapped. Dewalt equivalent is actually threaded into the casing of the drill. Hopefully, this turns out to be a better drill.
