I have them in my two Precision basses, in my old fender and in my sire p5 5 string. I love the output and the tone on them.

I put this pickup in my MIM P bass and I'm super impressed by it. It's like a night and day change. This thing has big time punch! It will punch you in the nose and steal your lunch money! Highly recommended!!

I have my first bass, Ibanez Gio 200. That bass just feels really good in my hands. It is small, and light and just has a great feel but it has pretty weak stock pickups. For the last few months I have been researching the idea of replacing those pickups. I have been talking to Sal, the bass mechanic about doing this. Being on a low budget upgrading this bass rather than getting a new one was my decision. So I brought in the bass and you guys just happened to have Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound PJ Bass pickups. I asked "what do you have in Bass pickups?" and Max got out the PJ pickups and a couple others....I was going to order the PJ pickups but you had them, I left it with Sal and a couple days later...that bass is now a lil monster. I will be upgrading another bass and a guitar pretty soon at Sam Ash. I go to Sam Ash for just about everything I get...always get what I needed. Thanks Sam Ash

I used the Quarter Pound Serymour Duncan pickups in a P-J bass build I put together. They are really punchy. High output, and IMO, they are much better sounding than the EMG actives that are in an identical build. I am VERY pleased with them. I will definitely be using them again on other builds.
