the UK conversion adaptor was not compatible with the 2 pin plug of the hot plate. They sent a replacement which was exactly the same as the first one they sent. Had to send product back as I am not able to use it.

Excellent hot plate for my stove-top coffee maker. Quick, small and practical. Only one complaint. You have to be very diligent about unplugging it after. There is no light and you can forget its on.
