The hob is exactly as described; it arrived well packed and looks great the silver knobs contrasting nicely with the black enamel hob. The engineer had no problem in fitting the hob; the right hand gas connection linked up perfectly with the original hob connection. The five burners work perfectly starting quickly and the inner seperate burner is a real bonus.

Everything from purchase, delivery and product was 5*. The Smeg hob was the only one I could find with 5 burners on an enamel base - I really didn’t want gas on glass. I particularly like the double burner wok in the centre. - it means I have the choice to use it as an ordinary burner or a super hot wok burner. The only thing to mildly dislike are the bright chrome taps Would have looked better in black or brushed steel but doesn’t detract from the delight of using it.
