Le Fulda EcoControl HP2 en 205/55R16 XL 94V est réputé pour être un pneu été économique et endurant. Les tests indépendants soulignent surtout sa très grande longévité et sa faible résistance au roulement, ce qui réduit les coûts d’utilisation et la consommation de carburant. Sur chaussée sèche, il offre des distances de freinage courtes et un bon niveau de sécurité, même si la réponse de direction n’est pas la plus vive. Les tests et avis d’utilisateurs montrent cependant clairement que les performances sur le mouillé sont le point faible : les distances de freinage s’allongent et l’adhérence en courbe est limitée, malgré une bonne résistance à l’aquaplaning. Ce pneu convient donc surtout aux conducteurs plutôt calmes qui parcourent beaucoup de kilomètres et privilégient coût, confort et efficacité, tout en restant conscients de ses limites sous la pluie.

I drive about 10,000 km in the summer, in the city, on the highway, and a lot in the mountains. The tire holds up well in all positions, only the wear is a bit high.
