Le Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 K127B est un pneu été sportif axé sur l’adhérence sur sol mouillé et la stabilité. Grâce à ses rainures imbriquées et à un mélange de silice avancé, il freine et dirige très sûrement sur asphalte mouillé et reste rassurant à haute vitesse comme en conduite dynamique. Dans le même temps, beaucoup d’utilisateurs soulignent que, pour ce niveau de performance, il demeure étonnamment confortable et relativement silencieux, avec une carcasse robuste qui favorise la longévité. En revanche, c’est un vrai pneu été : ses performances chutent nettement par temps froid et sur neige ou glace, où un pneu hiver ou toutes saisons sera plus sûr. Le confort reste aussi inférieur à celui de pneus tourisme plus souples, et certains notent une hausse du bruit au fil de l’usure. The tyres are good, but not the best of the best. No complains apart from two episodes. One was sideways sliding at around 70 kmh in a corner if an autobahn ramp on dry road. That was unexpected. The second was a contact with a parking/sidewalk edging at parking speed, maybe 5 kmh. The tyre has something like a rim protector, which just tore during the contact and I have both a scratched rim and a piece of rubber sticking out of the tyre (I glued it back).
