Le Michelin Pilot Super Sport 295/30 ZR22 (103Y) XL est un pneu été ultra-hautes performances dédié aux voitures de sport puissantes. Il offre une adhérence et une stabilité exceptionnelles sur le sec comme sur le mouillé, avec des distances de freinage très courtes et beaucoup de confiance dans les virages rapides. De nombreux conducteurs apprécient la direction vive et le comportement très prévisible à la limite, ce qui en fait un choix prisé pour la conduite dynamique et quelques sorties sur circuit. En contrepartie, il est nettement plus coûteux que de nombreux rivaux et le confort reste moyen; on ressent davantage les défauts de la route et un léger tramlining peut apparaître. Il ne fournit pratiquement aucune sécurité sur neige ou verglas, et doit donc être utilisé uniquement comme pneu été. La longévité est bonne pour un pneu sportif, mais ceux qui privilégient le confort pur devraient envisager un modèle moins extrême.

I bought Pilot Super Sport 255/40/R19 tires 7 years ago, but I do not use my car much in a summer. For 7 years I made exactly 35,000 KM (about 22K Miles). Over the weekend, replaced my wheels to Winter set and discovered my Pilot Super Sport has significant issue. The thread started to separate. All tires have very extensive wear on the inside edge of the tire (about 2 cm edge) and the rest of the threads is very good. It appeared to me the design issue. Looks like Audi A8 is pretty heavy for those tires, and yet, Pilot Super Sport has the right load index. My winter tires are already 55K KM with identical wear on all threads! Other than that, tires hold the road good! Only this year I could feed slight vibration. Now I know why.

Bought as a sport summer tire. Performs well in rain also. Has a confidence you can trust. Have done 6 track days and the tire shoulders are showing sign of wear, but looks normal. Lots of life for street use.
