Hard to tell how it's doing. Seems good. One thing, I have to put it in the other room from where I'm at because it messes with my hearing aids. Any music changes to a loud screeching sound, cannot hear words. Not sure if it's a magnetic reaction or what. Seems ok if I put in another room.

I bought this to help with smoke from wildfires. While air quality outside was rated "Unhealthy," this filter cleaned the air in my room. I noticed a big difference in my health-- without the filter I'd developed a cough and scratchy throat, and had no problems with either of those once I got this up and running. It's quiet and started working as soon as I plugged it in. I did notice a slight artificial smell the first couple hours it was running (very slight, just made the air taste stale) but that went away within a day of use. The noise of the filter on the lowest setting is barely audible, and I slept fine with it on settings 2 and 3, which are noisier but no louder than a box fan.
