La Sangean PR-D17 est une radio portable de haute qualité, conçue pour les malvoyants. Elle offre une excellente réception AM/FM, des haut-parleurs stéréo clairs et des fonctions pratiques comme le guidage vocal, de gros boutons, une horloge, une alarme et une minuterie. Les informations RDS et les langues multiples facilitent l'utilisation. Le son AM est un peu sourd et le balayage des bandes est lent à cause des annonces vocales. Pas de réglage basses/aigus et l'appareil est assez grand. Pour ceux qui recherchent une radio accessible et polyvalente avec une réception optimale, c'est un excellent choix.

I recently developed macular degeneration and can no longer work a standard radio (at least with any ease). This radio has saved the day. Controls are clear and easy to use. Selections of individual stations for the preset buttons was simple, and the buttons themselves are easy to locate. One button that announces the time, even when the radio is turned off. Only one complaint. I could not read the setup instructions, so a fully sighted person had to do that. It would be nice to have a large-print sheet with the basic setup, without having to wade through "don't use this radio in the bathtub." So, many thanks for offering this radio, and at a reasonable price.

I love this radio. Everything talks, and is very intuitive. The sound quality exceeded my expectations! I wish you could turn down the volume on the voice prompts. It would be amazing to have it be bluetooth, but fabulous.
