Le Remington R1 Style Series R1000 est apprécié pour ses lames doubles qui accélèrent le rasage et sa tondeuse escamotable pratique pour les détails. L'appareil se recharge en USB-C et offre 30 minutes d'utilisation sans fil, idéal en déplacement. Plusieurs avis signalent cependant qu'il peine sur les barbes épaisses et peut irriter les peaux sensibles. Le temps de charge de 8 heures pour seulement 30 minutes d'utilisation est aussi souvent critiqué. À considérer si vous avez la peau sensible ou attendez un rasage très net.

I haven't had this razor a year and the head fell apart. The mount for the hinge broke off and the release bottom fell out all at the same time. It's like the plastic has just become brittle and I noticed the silver finish is peeling off too. Up until now I thought it was an OK razor, now it's in the trash. As mentioned in the previous review, the power button is not the best and in the wrong place, your finger turns it off just from gripping the razor while shaving. I had another self cleaning model Remington before this one, the cleaning pump quit in a year with that one! Is Remington making 1 year use razors now?? I'm going back to the old trusty Norelco that I've had for 3 years now, charged it up over night and worked like a champ this morning.

The shave is good. In my opinion the on/off button is very fragile and will have to handled gingerly. It's quite a bit bulky with the cleaning stand but seems to clean well in the cleaning cycle. If razer is not left in the charging stand it will not hold a charge overnight when left on the counter and turned off. Overall, better than a manual shave.
