I bought this to replace my older version of the same model. Setting up was easy and my system was up and running in no time. I had a small issue with syncing other equipment but a call to Richer sounds guided me to the correct part of the setup and everything is working well. The sound is clear and dynamic with lots of options for sdjustment to suit your speakers and room layout.

Once the 8 point Audyssey calibration is complete the sound is the best and clearest I've ever had, this being the 3rd AV amp that I've owned, even though my seating positions are nothing like the standard diagram and my lounge is an awkward L shape. I found that using an A.I. app (eventually) got me to the best microphone positions. Easy to connect to my existing speakers and other kit. I can't fault the clarity of the video.

I bought this to use in conjunction with my HD projector for watching movies in my smaller snug room. It replaced an old standard Pioneer stereo amp. The main advantages were the two HDMI outputs (one for TV and one for the projector), Bi-Amp connections for my front speakers and the phono input stage as I am an avid vinyl collector. I was looking for this unit and contacted the 'Clearance Search' option on the website, the Leeds Team called me straight back with an offer. I am using a mix of different speakers with centre and sub 5.1. The unit works perfectly for movies with full surround sound filling the space very well after using the self calibration setup. I was also very pleased while listening to my stereo vinyl albums with the surround switched on, which opens up the whole soundscape! Perfect bonus!
