Yamaha RX-V6A

The staff tgere are amazing ,I could of got a cheaper amp or dearer But they gave me options shops don't do that they hard sell So to get exactly what I wanted at an amazing price I as so grateful This is my second shopping experience with richer sounds and def won't be my last Staff with time and amazing guidance

I'd owned my previous amp for over 15 years and wanted something that equalled the sound (at least) and had more functionality, without being incompatible with the rest of my set-up. The help and advice I received was very useful and supportive in my decision making process. The result is outstanding, so I am very happy with the Yamaha. I only hope that the new amp lasts as long as the previous one.

Bought this to drove a pair of 1980 Warfdale CD70.2 speakers. Sound is phenomenal. Service from these guys is always second to none too

Bought after a long and helpful discussion with staff at the Leicester shop which decided me on this model, and they were absolutely correct that this was the right choice for me. It's taken me a while to get to grips with this Yamaha, the options on offer are dizzying and not terribly well documented, but with a combination of the online manual, a good search engine to explain what various terms meant, and the ability, once it was connected, to change settings by using a browser and the Yamaha's web interface (enter the RXV6A's ip address into your browser to access the pages) which I found easier to use than the TV screen menu. The YPAO setup used as directed was simple and effective though, and the sound produced is exactly what I'd hoped for, both when using a 5.1 surround setup for movies and with no fancy processing for stereo music from CDs.
