GHD Hair Dryer Argenté

I bought it just for travel but it’s much lighter than my normal dryer so I use it every day it’s so light and powerful

I got this so I'd have a hair dryer to take up less space when traveling. I use this as my regular hair dryer now. It works well and doesn't feel damaging to my hair. It's light weight and easy to use. I'd definitely recommend.

I do like this hairdryer but I must be honest I am a little disappointed. I ordered this because I have one of the full size Ghd hairdryers - which I love. However anyone that has one will know how heavy they are. This lead me to this purchase as I didn’t want to take half my holiday suitcase weight with my hairdryer! I thought this hairdryer would be the perfect solution. However for the small size of the hairdryer it is still pretty heavy. It also doesn’t work as well as the original full size and it does cut out if you try and do too much of a ‘blow dry’ style. This results in you having to wait for it to cool down. It is a nice hairdryer and the case is lovely but for the price I did expect a little more. I could have put up with the weight if it didn’t overheat. Hopefully they will improve it for future models.

I’m so pleased I purchased this hairdryer. Fed up with arriving at hotels to find the awful, weak and often ineffective hairdryers on offer, this has been a godsend. It’s brilliantly packaged with its own sturdy travel case and fits neatly into a weekend bag. I love the colour and the fact it has dual voltage which is ideal for travelling abroad. It’s fairly pricey but very high GHD quality and hopefully will last for years to come.

Perfect size and works just as well as a full sized hair dryer. Just remember to switch the volts according to which country you are in.
