Difficile de vouloir le beurre et l’argent du beurre. Difficile de demander à une montre connectée relativement complète de dépasser toute la concurrence pour un prix moins élevé. Et pourtant, compte tenu de la qualité des matériaux, de tous les services offerts, autant en personnalisation qu'en fonctionnalités pour le sport et la santé, de la complétude des capteurs environnementaux, ou encore de la belle autonomie offerte par la version 46 mm, nous sommes presque déçus que cette montre ne soit pas encore plus complète. Nous n'attendions pas de connectivité 4G, d'oxymètre ou d'électrocardiogramme. Mais un petit capteur NFC n'aurait pas été de refus.

The Magic Watch 2 has amazing battery life and very good performance. It will undoubtedly please the fitness-focused, thanks to its wide range of exercise data and water resistance. However, the solid specs and versatility of its design might be enough to convince anyone to take the plunge.

The Honor Magic Watch 2 is a fantastic device for fitness buffs, with a range of new and returning health features like stress monitoring and exercise pace tracking. However, as with other wearables from Honor and parent company Huawei, its lifestyle tools are rather limited, so it might not suit someone who doesn’t exercise much.

The Honor MagicWatch 2 is in many ways a better sports-focused smartwatch than the pricier Huawei Watch GT2. It looks great, sports tracking features are solid and you've got that impressive battery life too. It's a shame it's missing features like payment support and the ability to import data to other apps. Take the same money and you could pick up something like the Garmin Forerunner 45. Though you'd be living with something that's not as feature rich or as good looking. If you can live without plugging your data into Strava, this really is a great budget sports watch with decent enough smartwatch skills.
