Ive used it 2 times and it singed my hair. Also fried my ends badly.. I am returning it.

This has been one of my favorite straighteners of all time, glides through my hair. Seems to be lasting and doesn't tug on my hair. Would recommend.

This straightener does not straighten well at all , it doesn't get to its full potential when it comes to heat even though it says it reaches up to 425 . It does come with a pretty long cord to move around .

I've never had a "professional" straightener before; I've always bought the cheap $20 Remingtons from large retailers, but I had some extra Ulta points and wanted to try a decent straightener. WOW. I was not disappointed. the G2 heats up so quick and leaves my hair sleek and perfectly straight. I have 2b/2c hair that's pretty thick so it would take me about 2 hours to straighten my hair with a Remington. Chi's G2? 20-30 minutes. I highly recommend this straightener. My only complaint is the price, but I have not bought very many straighteners in my lifetime, so I'm assuming you get what you pay for. Again, I was not disappointed.

I have thick locks of curly hair. I love this flat iron makes my hair look silky , healthy & smooth. I LOVE this flat iron. It's universal too works in any country. I used to use the Babyliss Pro for many years because it was always recommended for thick curly hair but my hair was always dry burnt and damaged looking.
