...which would've been obvious had I known what to look for. But, was looking to upgrade a 16-port switch with more manageability...but thought this was a too good to be true deal. Unfortunately, it was. The feature I was looking is in Rev F, "L3 Functions." Which, if I knew what better, has 20 RJ45 jacks, the last 4 of which are shared with the 4 SFPs, rather than this one with 16 RJ45 jacks + 4 SFPs. But, this switch is still a significant step up from my old 16-port switch, where vlan1 is fixed untagged on all ports.... Perhaps I'll try making a one-armed router to the little bit of L3 that I wanted...

Great switch, easy to manage. There is a newer series out, the DGS-1510-xx which appears to increase the interface speed. The price is considerably higher and I didn't really need the faster speed so this switch was perfect for me. Some reviewers have complained about fan noise-I purchased the 20 port non POE model which does not include any fans and is absolutely silent. I found an article on LinkedIn that details which switch models have fans, I will save you the trouble: Models ending in ..-10, -10P, -20 and -28 do not have a fan. This was a great switch to really kickup my home network. I have it running in a closet using Cat6 to my modem and it is great. The transmission speeds are great and the ability to test the integrity of cables over long runs was fantastic. Its a little daunting to setup but not impossible.

Not a fantastic value for the money when you consider you can get 8 more ports for just a few more dollars. Love the series though. It's my go to choice for installs.
