The unit is doing what it is intended to do. the 4 POE ports is great to power up POE devices. The only downside is that it does not have gigabit ports

Simply effective switch to give you 4 x PoE ports and 4 x Standard ports. Nothing amazing, but if you need a PoE port or 2 or 4 than this will happily do the job for minimal outlay

I ordered too fast, did not realize the switch is only 100 mb switch. I would definitely be more careful and get a Gb switch next time.
