L’Allen & Heath ZED60-14FX est une console très appréciée en live comme en studio pour les petits groupes et artistes solo, notamment pour son son propre et dynamique et ses préamplis silencieux. Avec huit entrées mono, deux entrées stéréo, un EQ 3 bandes avec médiums balayables et deux entrées guitare Hi-Z, elle offre une grande souplesse pour les voix, instruments et lecteurs audio. Les seize effets numériques intégrés, dont plusieurs reverbs et delays, sont souvent considérés comme remarquablement bons pour ce niveau de prix, et l’USB entrée/sortie permet d’enregistrer facilement un mix stéréo directement sur ordinateur. Les utilisateurs signalent toutefois que la console n’est pas rackable d’origine et occupe donc pas mal de place sur un bureau, et que le manuel et la configuration USB peuvent être déroutants pour les débutants. Plusieurs sources soulignent aussi qu’il n’y a qu’un seul envoi aux et un envoi FX, ce qui limite les possibilités de monitoring et d’effets sur des productions plus importantes. Pour ceux qui recherchent une console analogique compacte mais complète avec de bons effets et l’enregistrement USB, c’est néanmoins un choix très fiable et souvent recommandé.

Sturdy, reliable mixer whereby we can get more volume than a digital mixer. Guitar has residual hum in hi-z channel so we put it through a normal channel. Apart from that, excellent, would recommend!

A very well built British made mixer. Sound effects are included and are top quality . Shame that outputs are limited to XLR’s and no 1/4” Jack socket outlets. USB connectivity is supplied and an easy connection route to your DAW. Easy layout control knobs with excellent 60mm sliders. If you want a quality built unit , then look no further . No flexing of pcb boards as you turn knobs .Each knob has a locknut fixing to the board. Worth the extra cost and sounds superb.
