Le Tascam Model 16 est apprécié par les groupes, petits studios et églises, car il combine mixeur, enregistreur multipiste et interface USB dans un format compact. Les préamplis, l’EQ et la compression intégrée sont souvent salués pour leur son clair et musical, et l’on peut enregistrer jusqu’à 16 pistes directement sur carte SD sans ordinateur. Le routage flexible entre entrées analogiques, USB et pistes SD le rend polyvalent en live comme en studio. En revanche, plusieurs utilisateurs signalent que l’interface USB est assez sensible et parfois instable, ce qui la rend moins idéale comme interface audio principale. La console ne fonctionne qu’en 44,1/48 kHz et la commande via écran et menus demande un temps d’adaptation. Pour ceux qui recherchent surtout un enregistreur‑mixeur tout‑en‑un fiable, c’est un très bon choix, mais les utilisateurs intensifs de DAW doivent bien peser ces limites.

I've been mixing in the box since the early 2000's and decided to start using analogue outboard gear for the last couple of years... Adding the M-16 to this creative world is so refreshing; and was genuinely surprised at how it sounded - especially when tracking; it made me smile... so much so my wife asked me why was I smiling when I started playing my bass through it! I find it refreshing and takes me back to the early days of my musical enlightenment; time traveled me back to the early day's of back street dodgy recording studios for over priced demo's, mainly dreadful but so awesome of an expieriance when one is a young musician ...And of course the wonderful Tascam 4-track of the day. Early days so far but it is so inspirational. (tried to send photos but they would'nt load?)

This piece of kit is magical, the sound from hardware into this mixer, is so crisp and the standard tweaks on the mixer knobs really increase the sound you're after. Lovely big musical weapon!

Such a great desk. Super intuitive and easy to use and just great quality all round. We use it for rehearsal, shows and recording. Brilliant piece of equipment. The Bluetooth function has been really useful for amplifying demos etc at rehearsal and playlists at shows

Does what it says on the tin, I'm a happy chappy. Takes a bit of getting used to , but quite easy to navigate.
