This is an iPad for those who just need a simple tablet that will enable them to surf the internet, watch streaming services, and do the occasional other stuff - such as connecting a keyboard via the Smart Connector to do some work -rather than try to be something more glamorous. It's looking dated in its ninth generation form, but despite being the no frills iPad, there's still enough appeal.

Extremely disappointed with Apple. I only bought this because my iPad mini first gen no longer updates so one by one my apps no longer work. My toddler uses the mini almost daily for preschool and it has no issues, I had this less than 3 months and it started having an issue charging, two days later it wouldn't turn on. I feel like Apple is making an inferior product and forcing me to buy it by not letting my old one update. Apple had me bring it in but their "genius" said they didn't know what was wrong and that they would have to send it in. Received an email back saying they would not fix it as there was evidence it had been modified. I have to tech savvy to modify anything and the only thing I did to it was add a screen protector. I called Apple support to ask for clarification, waited on hold 30 minutes, and they the representative disconnected. I'm still reaching out trying to get an answer but have heard nothing.

This is at least my 8th iPad purchase for my family over the last 10 years. This iPad has never acted new since day one. It is slow to charge, but goes through a charge very quickly. Just wish I had complained sooner. I would not recommend purchasing through this seller.
