La MSR Elixir 1 Green est une tente une place populaire, appréciée pour son intérieur spacieux et sa bonne hauteur. Les arceaux colorés facilitent le montage, même par mauvais temps. Le mélange de mesh et de tissu offre une bonne ventilation, chaleur et intimité. La tente utilise des matériaux durables et des arceaux en aluminium solides, ce qui la rend fiable par temps changeant. Le grand vestibule offre un espace supplémentaire pour l’équipement. Cependant, la tente est relativement lourde pour les randonneurs solo qui veulent économiser du poids, et la porte unique peut limiter l’accès. Pour les randonneurs ultralégers, il existe des alternatives plus légères, mais pour le confort et la durabilité, cette tente est très bien notée.

Absolutely fantastic tent from MSR. Packs down small whilst also being spacious when up. Poles are very good quality and keep the tent sturdy in poor weather. Definitely worth the money.

Could be lighter, with more mesh but over all It's a great one person tent. You could squeeze 2 love birds in there if you needed to.

So we went on a 6 day trip to Glacier National Park. We split the tent up between 3 grown men. One took poles and footprint, one had the tent and the other the rain fly. The tent was very spacious fit all 3 6 foot+ guys and our bags inside. Vestibules fit all bags on one side and two camp chairs. Definitely light enough if you are splitting the work. Set up is quick and easy. I did it myself the first time to see if it was possible cause some reviews complained about it being hard. I also set up just the footprint and fly by itself to see how it worked. It was super simple and would make it nice if it was pouring rain. All in all it was a great tent. I would say only flaw is fly isn't the tightest, could have some condensation drip if it wasn't vented well.

I modified this tent for winter use. It was with us on our skiing trip last winter in Finnish Lapland with my wife. I have modified 2 such tents earlier. This MSR is shorter and narrower than they, but it has more useful breadth and length because its walls are vertical and it has much wider headroom also to dry wet clothes on the gear loft. In the summer it also has a feature to pitch it up dry during rain. You can pitch the poles up over the foot print, then the fly sheet and you can pitch the inner tent under its protective shelter. So I know that it is a super great winter tent and a summer tent as well!
