When you first see this multi-size guard you think hey, neat-o. But then you quickly realise that the overly large shape of it utterly breaks it's functionality. Unless you have a Dremel with a rotary blade to cut down the guard to a reasonable size you will never clipper your beard, mustache, sideburns, or anywhere around your ears because it just won't get in there and do anything. It relies on the hair dragging across the blades and needs a significant run up to do anything. The clippers on their own are fantastic, it is the guard that absolutely ruins this product and makes it UNUSABLE for most uses.

The product is quite good. It does a good job of trimming small hairs from the face. It is quite versatile. I would highly recommend it to anybody

Have previously used a WAHL clipper but the Philips is good . Cuts very well - even the Jack Russel has had a trim!! Is light in the hand and relatively quiet.

Very cheap feeling product. Uneven cutting. Pay more and get better quality. Avoid.

These clippers are a bad design. The comb is cheap plastic that breaks easily & the huge size means you can't get close around your ears. The lengths are not true so be careful, eg: 3mm is shorter than a standard 3mm pair of clippers. Very upset as cannot get an exchange as box has been opened. No help from Philips customer care either.
