I've used Noctua fans for various builds. The quality is top notch and this "barebones" fan is a great addition. Especially if you don't need attachments that the standard line provides. I'm using this as an exhaust fan replacement on a Dell 5680. You usually get what you pay for with fans and this is right up there with the best.

My computer was running hot while playing VR games. Used this as a front intake fan. The two fans working together have made a huge difference.

The fan is nice and easy to hook up just screw in 4 shrews that come with the product and connect to fan connector on your motherboard.

My hearing isn't great- but my wife couldn't hear this thing running either. I had it connected to 8VDC, no PWM, so it was running at 8V worth of full blast. Still it made a nice breeze. The machine's Celeron CPU has just a 10W TDP so this fan was more than enough. I bought two. I also got an Arctic cooler, but will probably never use it because these are outstanding. I am an EE and have used lots of fans. If it holds up, this will be next to the top of my brand preference.
