Bowers & Wilkins ASW608 Blanc

Excellent subwoofer and couldnt expect anything less from B&W . Small but mighty. Paired it with the B&W 606s3 and marantz NR1200, definitely has added more weight to music and cinema. A great range of tweaking features to get it just right to your liking whether its boomy or subtle bass. Felt the 606s3 was slightly lacking in depth but this has far exceeded my expectations. Great for movies and 2 channel sound. Feel like my system is now complete. The autostart feature is excellent, no constant need to switch the sub on/off.

V oddly this sub woofer was faulty from the outset but as my previous one (a different make) exhibited the exact same problem none of us believed it could be the sub but it had to be the accompanying amplifier. I took them both back to the shop in Maidstone, they tested it and like me were vet surprised to find a faulty brand new unit which was replaced instantly. Super service

I have added this to a Denon micro system with Q acoustics 2010 speakers to add some bottom end to TV and film but also to music via the CD player and a Project turntable. I was keen for the sub to integrate in a subtle, musical fashion and not great cinematic thump. This it does beautifully. I did read the manual which I needn't have done, you just connect it up, switch on and adjust volume to suit. There are various EQ options but the default ones work for me.

Been using for two weeks now and very happy with it. Compliments my B&W CM1's very well and adds excellent bass extension. I wasn't looking for thumping great bass, just extending the frequency response to what I already had so the AS608 has done just that perfectly. Very easy to set up with just a few minor tweaks to settings to get it just right.
