Western Digital WD My Passport 2 To SSD Red

Just realized it's been over 2 years since I purchased my 2 TB My Passport. I'm sure that any issue that may have occurred was the fault of the device I may have had it plugged i to a t the moment. I have Desktop, Laptop, 3 S- Series Samsung Galaxy Tablets, Galaxy S20-Ultra, and multitude of other devices. My advice, the RAM of your device makes the difference., so if it's not loading or crashing or just plain sucks overall, I can say my old S20-Ultra (16GB) still blows away my newer Laptop (8GB) when using My Passport. I Quick Share to the S20 and 40GB of data gets stored in a reasonable time. But take breaks and unplug to avoid getting to warm. Might have been a factor in its longevity. But in short, it ended up being exactly what I needed for home, and here and there trips.

Fast SSD operation, small and light, very nice look. Works well with MacOS Time Machine backup software. I now have two of them in different colors.

Great small memory to maintain data off the main drive

I bought this to use for video storage for filming. 2 tb of data no longer accessible, less than 2 months of use

Don't really know, only had it for a few weeks. Last one crapped out after one year.
