Bought this as a graduation gift to myself. Came in the mail and was much bigger than anticipated LOL forgot how much ~3k pieces was. Haven't built lego in about 8 years so it took me about 16 hours but I loved all of it. Seeing it come together was so cool, and it having working suspension and especiallyy working differentials blew my mind. If your on the fence buying this, buy it. You won't regret it.

Mine SUV is still under construction, but I am very pleased with it so far. Lego models that I have built in the past are very satisfying and functional, compared to other brands.

I have done a bunch of Technic builds and this one is definitely one of my favourites. The instructions were quite good overall with few errors - nothing that affected my experience with the build. I had all the pieces - thank you Lego for great quality control on this one. The organization of the packages (20 in all) made the build very enjoyable. Thank you Lego for a great experience and ride! I had a lot of fun with this one.

Lovely Lego and on sale at a great price too. Fun to build and took a decent amount of time ! Very much recommended if you are into Lego - especially so if you enjoy Lego Technic and / or Lego cars.

I have built every single Lego creator, icon, technic vehicle and this was the worst from the start. It literally put me off building anything for a year just for the time lost and frustration with this mess. It was ugly to look at and I have no clue what they were thinking with the hood/bonnet. It’s loose and rubs against the windshield wipers (why they were even there is a mystery on its own) on this odd pivoting hinge assembly that just seemed like a poor workaround for a bad design. how did they go from the amazing defender set to this mess FIVE years later? I wish I can get my money back.
