Canon RF-S 18-150mm f/3.5-6.3

All of the pros and cons have been covered in the questions above but here's a couple more. Optical quality is reasonable as is the construction given that it's a kit lens, but having said that I think it's expensive.

The plastic mount, no lens hood supplied with the lens, average image quality and small max aperture at 150mm makes this an expensive lens. Hence only 3 stars..

I had a f2.8 EF-s 17-55mm, ( lovely results) but find it very heavy and bulky as an all day walk about when travelling/ on city breaks. Purchased this lens as so light/ tiny. It struggles a bit in very low light but just had to use SS and ISO to compensate. Would be nice if better in low light, but then it would be heavy…

I bought this lens for my R50 camera specially for my trip to Canada & New York. I wanted to take one multi purpose lightweight lens to cover the majority of photo opportunities on my holiday. So far it has been great, I have easily carried it everywhere with me.

RF-S18-150mm F3.5-6.3 IS STM lens I was not disappointed with the quality of lens results.
