Nikon AF-S 18-300 mm f/3.5-6.3G ED VR DX

A first safari adventure and this lens was ideal due to its compact size and good focal length range. Extra care needed with settings when shooting fast and at long range but that's as expected. Also, gave excellent results for close up's such as flower heads and for landscapes. Overall a great piece of kit.

This lens is ideal for holidays or trips to avoid carrying and changing multiple lenses.

Lovely lens nice & compact & smooth, not had time to put it through its paces yet but love it

As a relatively new photographer, with a Nikon D3500, I consider this lens a great all-rounder. Ideal if want to photograph a variety of close and distant subjects and don't want the expense, weight or hassle of using multiple prime (or more restrictive zoom) lenses. There is of course a trade-off in quality, however. This lens doesn't open to a very wide aperture, and will not be as sharp as dedicated prime lenses.

Great new and compact 18-300mm f6.3 lens from Nikon, but no lens hood supplied with it, but is uses the same sized one as the 18-140mm lens. Other than that very happy with it
