Many sweet men's fragrances from today appeal to me less and I find them rarely particularly masculine. However, Animale Animale for Men has succeeded in combining a classic men's scent with sweet aromas, so in the end, I am very pleased. The longevity on my skin exceeds 12 hours and the sillage is also quite convincing. The top note starts off fruity-citrusy, fresh, sweet, and gourmand with aromas of pineapple, lemon peels, limes, bergamot, and floral honey. The heart note continues to smell sweet but also floral-powdery and oriental-spicy with aromas of lavender, iris, violet, ambrette seeds, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, jasmine flowers, tuberose, ylang-ylang, as well as rose water. The base offers woody-resinous, balsamic, and subtly animalic hints of sandalwood, tobacco, musk, cedarwood, amber, vanilla, and rosewood. In the end, Animale Animale for Men has pleasantly surprised me. I sincerely thank Sören for the sample.

I did not know Animale had several scents or aromas. This is not the scent that I used to wear long time ago. They should put on the box the scent name so everyone could choose from, and not buying something they thought it was what they want it. I am going to be more careful next time.
