Animale Woman Eau de Parfum est un chypre très affirmé dans un style typique des années 80, avec beaucoup de force et de personnalité. Il marie des notes florales, boisées et animales pour créer une aura sensuelle, presque dominante, ce qui le fait remarquer immédiatement et lui vaut souvent le statut de parfum « powerhouse ». De nombreux utilisateurs soulignent son excellente tenue et son sillage marqué : quelques pulvérisations suffisent pour durer toute la journée et laisser une trace nette. Cela en fait un choix idéal pour les soirées, le temps froid et les occasions où l’on veut une présence olfactive forte. Ce même aspect est aussi son principal défaut : utilisé trop généreusement, Animale peut rapidement paraître trop intense, voire étouffant pour l’entourage. Les facettes animales et mousseuses ne plaisent pas à tout le monde ; les amateurs de senteurs légères, fraîches ou très juvéniles le trouvent souvent trop adulte et trop lourd. En revanche, pour celles qui aiment les parfums classiques, sensuels et puissants, Animale Woman peut devenir une signature marquante et très tenace.

Although the packaging looks nice, it is totally impractical. When I first received the perfume, I had bad luck right away when opening it. The bottle fell out of the packaging and the perfume sprayer broke. However, I made an effort and applied the scent to a test strip. At first, it smelled to me like a cheap fragrance from Rossmann. Nevertheless, I ordered this perfume again. After a while, I smelled this strip labeled "Mayar," and compared to Lattafa "Haya" and Lattafa "Yara Tous," it smelled unexpectedly sweet, juicy, and "expensive." I smelled juicy raspberries and sweet lychees - it was incredibly beautiful. I have never tried "Angel Nova" by Mugler in my life, but in any case, I am fully satisfied with this perfume.

I bought this fragrance blind based on a review here on Parfumo and I was not disappointed! I read that Mayar is supposed to resemble Angel Nova quite strongly. I like Angel Nova, but I find it "too loud" over time, which makes it overwhelming. In short: Angel Nova gets on my nerves in the long run. Mayar, however, is said to smell just as good but be less overpowering. My opinion on this: Exactly right! Raspberry, litchi, pleasant rose (not too dominant and definitely not "old-fashioned") define the scent and are also persistently noticeable. It is a fruity-fresh, sweet fragrance. The sillage is top-notch, and yet it doesn't come across as loudly as Angel Nova and doesn't get on my nerves. I am really happy to have discovered Mayar here! A toast to the Parfumo community and all the diligent reviewers!

Definitely not the fragrance or aroma I used to wear years ago. And I can't return it now. It barely smells, seems like I will need to empty the whole thing to make it happen. Besides that, it has a sweet smell and the one I use to like use to smell like lime and woods really fresh. So I gonna leave my review here so I don't commit the same mistake again. Idk why manufacturer has to put the same name to different fragrances so people get confused what is which or which is what.

The top note is definitely very good, but for my taste, it is still way too sweet and, in my opinion, too "powdery". As it develops, I really only smell pineapple with a lot, a lot of imagination. However, no one should buy this scent if they are hoping for a fruity summer fragrance. Regarding longevity, I can only say that it is relatively low. Up close, the scent is barely present for me after 3-4 hours, so the sillage is hardly noticeable. In terms of price-performance ratio, you can't go wrong here, as long as you are aware of the points mentioned above. A big plus is that Animale Animale surprisingly appeals very well to the female gender. I had two women from my close circle test it with their eyes closed, and they ranked it even before L'Aventure and Armani Code Profumo, which, in my opinion, smell worlds better.
