Jil Sander Sun est un parfum très estival, souvent décrit comme ensoleillé, balnéaire et nostalgique, rappelant clairement les crèmes solaires des années 80 et 90. De nombreux utilisateurs apprécient son côté chaud, crémeux et joyeux et jugent le prix très attractif, surtout en coffret avec gel douche. L’eau de toilette est étonnamment puissante : elle s’ouvre de façon intense, projette bien et reste longtemps sur la peau et les vêtements, de sorte que peu de pulvérisations suffisent. En même temps, c’est une fragrance très polarisante. Il est fréquemment mentionné qu’elle peut sentir le synthétique, voire le plastique, surtout au début, et certains ont envie de la rincer immédiatement. Par fortes chaleurs, son caractère sucré et dense peut vite devenir trop présent, elle fonctionne donc mieux avec parcimonie ou lors de journées d’été plus douces. Le style est clairement rétro plutôt que moderne, ce qui séduit certains mais déplaît à d’autres. Ce coffret s’adresse surtout à ceux qui aiment les parfums d’été intenses et nostalgiques et recherchent un cadeau à bon prix.

This scent is crazy! It goes through so many phases, a pure olfactory pleasure. it is a powdery paradise with a very high quality vanilla sensation. The leather and the oud are very subtle but they play their role perfectly. Bergamot is superbly overpowering and makes it even more versatile. I remembered the great reviews I read several years ago, and recently I was lucky enough to find a new one on the net so I didn't hesitate for a second, luckily! Being passionate for years I have been able to smell a large number of perfumes, chords, different notes, and believe me never anything like it. On the other hand, I can recognize at certain times the Thierry Wasser style and that makes me smile. One of my best discoveries, a big bravo Mr Wasser!

This is an unashamed clone of CK One. As such, many men may find it far too sweet and cloying and even cause headaches if oversprayed. It definitely needs to be labelled Unisex. It's suitable for summer use and has good long lasting performance compared to many fragrances with the word 'summer' in their name. It is still good value for those who love the powerful sweetness of CK One, but I didn't like it.

This is a great example of a not so well known fragrance that really should be talked about more. Its a really great clean and fresh fragrance for man. Long lasting more suitable for the summer and going out during the day. And as great as it is, it's also very cheap compared with other more popular fragrances. Really recommend that you try this one. Get the big bottle for extra value.
