Today I went back to my trusted perfume store to test a few MFKs. And well… what can I say? The first spray was a huge disappointment for me. My first thought… Highly frequented swimming pool. A decent amount of chlorine in the air and along with it this toilet cleaner vibe wafting from the restrooms, as if someone had gone a bit overboard with the cleaning products. Yes, I’m exaggerating a bit, but that was exactly the association I had right away. Unfortunately, it’s completely off for me. However, anyone looking for that ultra-clean, chlorine-fresh “swimming pool” character might actually find it appealing. It definitely doesn’t suit my taste at all.

Aqua Celestia Cologne Forte is a well-made summer fragrance that definitely does not reinvent the wheel. It delivers exactly what you expect from the color blue and the name MFK: cleanliness and freshness. The scent: The opening is a classic, bright citrus that gets a slightly tart note from the blackcurrant. As it develops, it becomes very clean. Those looking for the typical "shower gel association" will find it here, albeit at a higher quality level. Performance: The longevity is okay for a Cologne Forte, but not groundbreaking. After 5-6 hours, it usually fades for me. Conclusion: A safe scent for the office or everyday wear. It doesn’t offend anywhere, but it’s also not a statement piece. You can wear it, but at this price, you don’t necessarily have to.

Aqua Celestia Forte is a pleasant scent but unfortunately on my skin it came off very synthetic and not as fresh as I had hoped. It lasts reasonably well but I would recommend 724 10/10 times over this one. My first MFK fragrance but not my last. I didn't pick up on the bergamot at all but it reminds me too much of cheap laundry products.
