Joop! Homme Wild est un flanker très sucré et boozy de l’original Joop! Homme, avec des notes marquées de poivre rose, de rhum, de tabac blond et de bois. De nombreux utilisateurs saluent sa forte projection et sa bonne tenue d’environ sept à huit heures, surtout compte tenu de son prix souvent bas. Il est donc apprécié comme parfum de soirée ou de club, lorsque l’on recherche un sillage fort et bien présent. En revanche, il est souvent décrit comme extrêmement sucré et assez juvénile, ce qui peut vite devenir trop dans les espaces fermés ou au travail. La note de rhum est bien présente mais reste maîtrisée au niveau designer, de sorte que l’on ne sent pas littéralement l’alcool, même si ce côté boozy peut rester déroutant pour certains. Comme la senteur est assez particulière et clivante, beaucoup recommandent de la sentir avant d’acheter à l’aveugle. Pour les amateurs de parfums du soir sucrés et voyants, il offre toutefois un très bon rapport qualité‑prix.

Joop! Homme in the EdP version is really great for the price. The DNA of Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette is clearly recognizable, but here it feels warmer and darker. The scent is pleasantly sweet-spicy: a start with a lot of cinnamon and a nutty hazelnut touch, along with a cozy, sweet base of tonka and vanilla with a bit of creamy cashmeran. Sweet, but not sticky, more like the warm sweetness of baked goods. In terms of performance, it is strong, lasts well, and is not too quiet. For the low price, you get surprisingly much scent and warmth. In summary, a sweet-spicy feel-good fragrance with great value for money that I can definitely recommend.

Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette was a frequent companion in my youth; I received it as a gift during my late teenage years, along with the deodorant stick shown above. At that time, I didn't have much connection to perfumes, but at least I was equipped with something of my own and used both until they were finished. I remember it being overly sweet for me back then, with a strong floral aspect and a bit of fruitiness, which was balanced or complemented by something that made it feel and be perceived as masculine. Probably the spiciness from cinnamon and sandalwood. For me, it was quite wearable at that time. I can only recount the scent description of Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette as a reminiscence; it hasn't been around for a long time. It wasn't bad, but I preferred Cool Water Eau de Toilette at the time, or later "CK One (Eau de Toilette) | Calvin Klein." Nevertheless, Joop! Homme Eau de Toilette remains a companion of youth..

When smelling Joop Homme for the first time, the floral notes stand out, yet it still has a masculine scent. The bottle looks quite okay, but what I find critical is the cap; it doesn't feel very good. In terms of longevity and sillage, the fragrance performs well. Overall, I give the perfume an 8/10.

With joyful anticipation, I opened my 200ml bottle today and applied 5 sprays. Based on the reviews I read here, I expected a longevity of at least 5-6 hours. The scent has a lot of intensity at first, but it fades very quickly. After about 1 hour, it was barely detectable. Every fragrance from the discount store lasts longer. I really expected more; even on my wrist, there was only a faint scent left. Sorry, I cannot understand the reviews regarding this; I have had other fragrances that lasted much longer. This is at least my personal experience. I certainly won't buy it again... Longevity and sillage in the current version are abysmal. My aftershave lasts longer. That's probably why the scent is so cheap, yet it is still too expensive.
