Mercedes-Benz Select Night est un parfum masculin chaud et épicé-sucré, construit autour de la cardamome, de la lavande, des bois et d’une vanille crémeuse. Les avis soulignent surtout son côté sensuel pour le soir et jugent la qualité élevée pour un prix bas à moyen, ce qui lui vaut souvent l’étiquette de pépite cachée. La fragrance est fréquemment comparée à Tom Ford Noir Extreme, avec un profil chaud, épicé et légèrement poudré similaire mais sans le prix élevé du niche. En revanche, les performances restent surtout moyennes : la plupart des utilisateurs obtiennent environ cinq à huit heures de tenue avec une projection modérée, donc ce n’est pas un monstre de puissance. En raison de sa douceur et de sa chaleur, il convient mieux au temps frais et aux soirées qu’aux fortes chaleurs, et ceux qui recherchent quelque chose de très unique pourront le trouver peu original.

I purchased this for two reasons: I love Mercedes benz club black and it kept getting mentioned as a “brother” to Noir Extreme. Well, it smells nothing like Noir Extreme. No part of it. Ever! While this is a great fragrance it’s sexy in a different way. The lavender in this fragrance is powdery and slightly aromatic but not medicinal. The woods in this come across slightly sweet and leather like. Not very spicey to my nose and not creamy. I don’t pick up any bergamot or cardamom or vanilla. It also has a “shaving cream” like note that make this very masculine to me. So I’ll enjoy this on my husband but not myself. Longevity is decent and projects for about 2 hours. Then it’s a skin scent.

This feels like perfumer Olivier Cresp remaking Tom Ford Noir Extreme, to which it bears a strong resemblance: a dark, sleek, creamy, "perfume-y" spicy-floral vanilla. Rather than the kulfi accord from, this gets its creaminess from an orange blossom heart.

I have no idea why everyone is talking about Spicebomb, but for me, this is definitely a Strellson D'strict copy :) The bottle is really well done. It reminds me of the automatic gear lever from a Benz from the late 90s. I’m not exactly sure if this fragrance is still being sold, as I only found it in an online shop for ordering.
