Doesn't make straight cuts, it walks away from you even with a small amount of pressure. Slight pressure and you can see the disc bend away from the original entry cut. I should have researched before I purchased - the whole point of buying a chop saw was to help make straight cuts faster.

The rear gate does not lock well into place and will not stay square. The motor mount won't stay square also. Nice motor and blade safety.

Hinge pin is not square. Not talking about the fence; you can fix it square with some fiddling. Cuts maybe 1/2" square-bar ok. But put a 1/4 x 1" bar in vertically (the way it ought to be cut) and you'll find the bottom is 3/32" longer than the top. Cut a 3" square tube and you'll find the bottom is 1/4" longer. There is no adjustment for this except guessing the shim size you need to prop up the stock. LOTS of post cut grinding. Unacceptable.

It seemed well made , but it does require at least a 30 amp power supply , and then was not able to add any weight to the cut pressure or it would pop the 30 amp breaker.

Second one I bought. First one smashed hooked to 220 by one of the kids but still ran like a champ until it died.
