What a mess, one spends $300+ on a piece of equipment one expects that they could at least power it up. USB Type C cable, okay at least have an adapter. I usually use type A, the smaller USB's fail, break and do not seat well after a few uses. I finally found a C to A cable and adapter, plugged it in and got a power shortage code. It could be that the cable is old or the adapter / computer does not power it. Really cannot believe a vendor would not ship their product with everything that would guarantee it would work out of the box. Now I have blinky power light, cute. I actually had tried to order this from Amazon and had ordered another power cord to mitigate but Amazon could not deliver. Really did not believe I had to sift through my old cables for a solution.

Seriously a 300 scanner and no power code???? Try to find one that will work - and it won't poer one. Brother is extremely disappointing. Will not continue to support their brand.

This is a good portable scanner. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be either. I can definitely handle the workload for a home office! The only problem.... and it is a problem: there is no AC adapter included! For a scanner at this price point an AC adapter should have been included! I went to purchase one on the brother website and it's out of stock and has been out of stock for months now. So not only is an AC adapter not included you can't buy one either.... Do better Brother! I own several different Brother devices and I can say that they are work horses! They do their job they continue to do their job and they rarely ever malfunction.

This is cool scanner. Double sided scanning to a network share is very fast. It has some customizable features from the Web UI. But it doesnt include an AC adapter. Even if you want to run it off a USB C battery and keep it totally mobile, this is not a cheap scanner and can include the option.

Sad that neither a wall charger cable nor a wall plug for the included USB-C cable was not included. We won't buy anything else from your company
