Saw works well with the Bosch guide rail and an Axminster saw blade. Really disappointed to find it was made in China as I am trying to avoid Chinese goods. I have only given three stars because of this.

Good saw. Replaced the older GKS 18v-li which was not guide rail compatible. Comes with a nicer blade than the older ones too. All round better than its predecessors . Parallel guide is also a step up from the older version.

This was my first circular saw, and it wasn't until trying some other circular and plunge saws that I realised how impressive this is. With a good blade (the included Optiline blade, or the Freud Pro LCL6M01064 I use now) and using a Festool guide rail, the cut quality is as good as or sometimes even better than a Festool TS 55. It can sometimes stall in thick hardwood, but I prefer this any day to a kickback. As a regular circular saw (off the rails) the ergonomics aren't great for a right hander, the blade guard can be annoying for on-rail use, and the dust collection isn't brilliant, but overall I'm extremely happy with this saw.
