DeWalt DWS727-QS

This is a solid workhorse of a saw. Plenty of power and capacity, some nice features, and well thought out design. The only thing holding it back is a somewhat poorly intersecting bevel lock lever and dust collection bag and some accuracy problems out of the box. But this would likely be different on a case-by-case basis. The DEWALT 10″ Sliding Compound Miter Saw DW717 is a great saw for framers and exterior trim and siding installers due to excellent power, good accuracy, excellent cut capacity, and all around durability in a portable package. I’d have no problem recommending this saw to anyone looking for a good saw that will last for a long time at a reasonable price.

Cannot recommend this enough yes their are cheaper ones out there but their not dewalt buy this one it will not disappoint you

You can not turn it at an angle you want .it is set for certain angles

It's pretty good but when cutting mitre joints so the head is tilted at 45 degrees it does not slide forwards and backwards very well at all so you can not get a smooth cut. Considering the price and what it's made to do I would've thought they would have made sure that that saw would slight forward and backward smoothly. Also it was not "square" I have to constantly adjust it so it cuts the correct angles i.e. true 90 degrees and 45 degrees and not follow the marking on the saw itself even after they've been adjusted.

Love this tool., especially with the stand been very useful
