Synology DS225+

The seller was the best of the best and really took the time to answer all our questions. We wanted to set up secure data management within our household, and this is truly the ideal solution for instantly backing up all the activity from our laptops. This model is very well suited for a home: fast, with two drives for added security, and high-performing. The physical installation is child’s play. Getting to grips with it and configuring the system takes a bit of time for someone who doesn’t really have experience with this type of equipment, but with a few tutorials you can get there easily. The quality/price ratio for the enclosure seems totally justified to us; this is a little less the case with the hard drives that go inside it: a bit expensive. That said, I really do recommend this product. It allows us to have peace of mind about our data and not fear technical problems with our devices.

Vraiment content de mon achat. L'installation a été super simple et l'interface DSM est très facile à utiliser au quotidien. Je m'en sers surtout pour stocker mes fichiers et sauvegarder mes photos. Pour info, je l'ai boosté avec 6 Go de RAM et deux disques Synology de 4 To, ça tourne nickel. Je n'ai pas encore testé Docker ou Plex mais je pense que ça passera sans souci vu la réactivité. J'ai aussi pu configurer une sauvegarde cloud sur Scaleway pour pas cher, c'est un vrai plus pour la sécurité de mes données. Je recommande !

Rien à redire. S'adresse à un public averti pour l'utilisation (ou bien se préparer à passer du temps sur les tutos), mais une fois configuré, c'est du bonheur.

These disks were intended for a NAS D225+. The products were well packaged and delivered on time. Getting started went without a hitch. Lots of tutorials available for Synology applications. I was looking for peace of mind with the supplier and the products, and I got both. Would recommend.
