Le Synology DS423 est un NAS fiable pour les particuliers et petits bureaux recherchant un stockage stable et un accès facile. Les performances sont suffisantes pour les tâches courantes, mais l'absence de ports réseau rapides et d'options d'extension peut limiter les utilisateurs exigeants. Le logiciel DSM convivial et les quatre baies en font un choix attractif pour le stockage de base, mais la RAM limitée et l'absence de fonctions multimédia sont des inconvénients notables. Pour un stockage centralisé simple, c'est un choix solide.

Installing the hard drives in the product is very simple. It's also easy to access the interface via a browser. Getting to grips with the various applications and the menu in general takes a little time for the novice but does not require any particular technical skills. The TV (LG G2) immediately recognised the server. Be patient, though, as files need to be archived so that they can be viewed externally, and if you have old video files, the synology player (or some TVs like mine) may not play them, so you need to convert these files, for example to mp4.

it's the cheapest synology DS and it suits me. I was able to recover my data from my completely rubbish DS418 NAS. the other models are too expensive

I got this as my current NAS was having issues and wanted to move the data before I lost it all. Quick to set up and very easy to do. Once you download the DSM you get a great UI and look. There are phone apps available to allow the access via tablet or phone. Plex compliance allows you to easy set up a home media server as well.

Good Points: So much quicker than the old My Cloud. And stays connected. Given 10 for reliability, but only 2 weeks in, so don't really know Improvement Points: Matt finish feels a bit plasticky.

Good Points: Quiet Easy setup Great entry level NAS Improvement Points: Have to purchase separately a plastic spacer for thinner SSD drives.
