Logitech G502 HERO High Performance Gaming Mouse

If you’re looking for the successor to your eight-year-old G502, which doesn’t bear the mention "hero" under the mouse, even though apparently this commercial designation already existed at the time, because it is starting to lose some of its features, as is the case with mine, this is the model that took over! Same features and still just as pleasant to use; only the wheel has been changed to plastic (we’ll see whether it retains its inertia as well over time in free-spin mode), silent clicks, adjustable weight, etc. The configuration software still doesn’t work on linux... Even with the wine/proton tools... And Logitech still hasn’t made it available... In short, I hope I’m set for another 8 years!

A mouse that is very easy to handle, with a good grip and a fair price. I recommend this item. If needed, I would recommend a Logitech mouse.

Very good mouse, the grip is very comfortable and the mouse is smooth both in games and for everything else. Its different sensitivity modes are very practical and its additional weights allow it to adapt to the weight needed for it to stay in contact with the mouse pad. The scroll wheel surprised me because I did not think I would need this feature, but it has been very useful in certain situations where it had to be used a lot if I only had a normal wheel.

Quite disappointed, for a mouse that claims to be ergonomic, it hurts my ring finger and little finger terribly, no matter what position I try to adopt. It's outrageous that the ergonomics of a 15€ mouse can be better than that of a mouse that claims to be high-end. What's more, the mouse is capable of killing your neighbour with its weight, even without the additional weights (someone decided it probably wasn't heavy enough). I told myself I wouldn't regret this purchase when I see people praising this product, but in the end, I think my fingers will give out before the mouse does. The two positive points I can find are its scroll wheel, which is pleasant to use (much more so than on my previous mice). The last positive point is its sensor (the Hero sensor, I think), which is very precise and which, despite the pain that keeps me from using the mouse comfortably, takes me wherever I want on the screen.
