I’ve mainly used these switches in the field in a pinch and at home. Never had any failures, and they are dirt cheap.

Great switch in the field to have in your bag for when you’re in a pinch. I’ve used these over the years, no failures.

Easy to set up. It allows you multiple inputs to the wifi router where you may have only had one. I'd call it a splitter like with cable tv, but apparently these devices are called switches.

Im not a tech guy but T-Mobile just replaced my router and the new one only had two ports. (all my devices are hard wired) and wouldn't work without plugging them in. I purchased the netgear unit and plugged it in and every thing works great.
