TP-LINK RE705X

I bought the TP-Link RE705X AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 Extender about 2 months ago. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with the Wi-Fi range. Even with the Maximum Coverage setting, the signal is very weak. My Wi-Fi camera is less than 10 meters away, but it is offline most of the time. I expected much better performance for the price. My ZTE 5G router actually gives better coverage than this extender. The TP-Link app has many features, but the Wi-Fi range is not as good as I expected. I don't think it's worth the money if you need better coverage.

Upon moving into our flat and further away from the wifi, our signal dropped and we often lost connection and struggled to even sometimes stream netflix and prime, even struggling to play any sort of online game at all. However upon purchasing this product, we have boosted that signal drastically locating the extender roughly between 8-10meters away from the modem and it now works like a charm and have not battled to stream or even play games online. I know the price tag is much more than a lot of the other extenders, but if you looking for something that will tick all the right boxes then this is the correct item to purchase.

Finally have wifi in the room farthest from the router! Easy set up with the app.
