Anker Prime Batterie Externe 20 000 mAh avec Charge Rapide Noir

Like other reviews mention, this “upgraded” version of the 735 charger doesn’t emit past 20 watts or so and doesn’t charge correctly with the Steam Deck. The prior version worked completely fine, so something with their new tech and changes must be inferior to the previous model.

Using known-good Anker 333 100w USB-C cable and getting the “Slow Charger” notification while using the new Anker 735 charger. Settings shows device charging at a measly 0.7 W. This shouldn’t happen as the charger supports 15V 3A. Don’t waste your money if you’re looking to charge your Steam Deck.

Received unit today. It's heavy, well constructed just a fabulous looking charger. Came with a suction cup for when plugged into the wall to prevent sagging of the outlet. Bought unit for my Steamdeck, will be testing. Will be purchasing other GaNPrime. Update - unit only outputs 22.44w while also using a 100w rated Anker USB C to USB C cable. Does not output enough watts to charge steam deck. Steamdeck needs at least 30w to charge correctly. Any help from Anker I would appreciate it.

Another great one from Anker. Glad they released this update to the GaN product line. This charger is a big deal for reducing the amount of chargers I carry for travel and going about the day to day of keeping everything topped up.

I own the previous version of the Anker 735 Charger, and was looking for a second one to keep at my desk. While this new one worked just the same for my laptop and cellphones, I discovered that this new GANPrime model does not charge the Valve Steam Deck correctly and will cause the unit to give you a "Slow Charger" message. This new model is supposed to support 15V/3A like the old one, but it doesn't in practice. There must be something wrong with the PD negotiation between the charger and the Steam Deck. The previous Anker 735 charges it at full speed so I'm returning this GANPrime one unfortunately.
