I've recently started buying Philips Hue lights, which I have to admit aren't cheap but I've looked into them and they're the best in terms of durability. I thought they'd be a bit bigger but they're very cute despite everything and there's nothing to say about them in terms of colour and brightness. I put 4 because despite everything, it's still expensive but it seems that quality is priceless over time.

I bought these lights for use in my bedroom. I mounted them behind the bedside tables. They are brilliant, extremely versatile creating light for reading, ambience etc. Easy to set up and install. They require a Hue bridge. I also bought a remote which makes them more simple to use. You can program these with lots of colours/automation. Now looking to expand my philips hue lighting further in my home.

App works really smoothly, works really well with other Hue products including ambilight TV. wires could be longer to spread the lights out as the both go in to the same plug

Not the cheapest but it's beautifully put together and works perfectly with philips hue sync.
